Francesco Alberici won the 2021 UBU Award for Best Performer Under 35 and the 2024 UBU Award for Best Dramaturgy (Bidibibodibiboo). In 2021, he was among the five finalists for the Riccione Theatre Award.
He worked for many years as an author and performer with Daria Deflorian and Antonio Tagliarini, whose shows have been hosted several times at major European festivals and theaters. He works both independently and with his company, Frigoproduzioni, in the most important Italian theaters and festivals. He also collaborates with some of the most important artists on the theater scene: Babilonia Teatri (Silver Lion at the 2016 Venice Biennale), Enrico Baraldi (with whom he co-wrote the play Non tre sorelle, winner of the 2021 ANCT Award), Liv Ferracchiati, and Pier Lorenzo Pisano.
Alongside his theater work, he has edited, together with Silvia Gussoni, the publication of Milo Rau's collection of writings Realismo Globale.
